Do One Thing At A Time original canvas painting

£600.00

Do One Thing At A Time is a reminder that life can feel calmer and more achievable when we do just one thing at a time. Multitasking is, after all, a fallacy.

Usually the simplest words and actions can be the best for re-focusing ourselves, and I’ve found the clarity of this phrase has enabled me to cut through the tangle of noise and competing pressures, to stop chasing my tail and be able to move forwards.

The tendency to try and think of and work on multiple things at the same moment can feel like the only route through each busy day. But for me that usually means hopping around from one job to another without finishing anything, producing lots of stress and not much else.

I’m even trying to apply these words to usually thoughtless actions, like making sure that I use both hands for whatever task I’m attempting, rather than balancing an object in one hand and making a rushed mess of a job with the other. Put it down and do one thing at a time.

Hang this painting at home where it will catch your eye during one of those nonstop days, or in a workspace to nudge you back on track, one task at a time.

A gentle gift for anyone with a busy job, hectic home life, parents, carers, and for all of us trying to fit a quart into a pint pot.

Painting details:

  • 70cm x 50cm x 4cm

  • Acrylic on canvas

  • Painted by Naomi and one of a kind

  • Signed on the front

  • Ready to hang

  • Comes with Certificate of Authenticity

This canvas has an extra deep 4cm edge, meaning it looks great hung as it is without necessarily needing to be framed (but of course you still can if you want).

Shipping

There are two shipping options for this canvas painting:

  • £30 without insurance

  • £160 fully insured

It’s unfortunately very expensive to ship a painting with full insurance. I package paintings in a thick blanket of bubblewrap and inside a tight fitting cardboard box, and when sent by regular courier in the past I’ve had no damage issues. However I obviously can’t guarantee this and so have also provided an option with full insurance if you would prefer the peace of mind.

Please note that if you choose the shipping option without insurance I can’t accept any liability for loss or damage once it is with the courier.
